UNRCO-COY17 Messages from UN Egypt

COY17 is an annual event under the banner of YOUNGO – The Official Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The 2022’s event was hosted in Egypt, on the sidelines of the annual UN Climate Change Conference, also known as the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP27).

COY serves as a space for capacity building and policy training, in order to prepare young people for their participation at COP, empower them and formally bring their voices to the UNFCCC processes to shape the intergovernmental climate change policies.

In the spirit of capturing the essence of this event, P+ Studios provided documentary videography services, further amplifying the voices and contributions of young climate activists on the global stage. Through our visual storytelling expertise, we helped convey the importance of youth engagement and their impact on the intergovernmental climate change policies under the UNFCCC umbrella.
